WikiWow

Wikipedia just gets more and more impressive. Check out the detailed "nascent" entry on Benedict XVI [via Daypop]. And this morning my dad needed details about the Chinese government as background for his latest writing project. He called up — resigned, no doubt, to doing a couple of hours of online research and wanting advice on how to get going. It took less than 30 seconds to find and send him this link. I know he had better ways to spend those couple of hours.

[Update:] Ok, so apparently some shenanigans have been going on, but as Dan Gillmor points out this is still pretty amazing for something that wasn't there a few days ago.
